Zenterio is launching a full-service, consultancy business to help TV operators generate greater value from interactive TV services and harness new opportunities in the connected home

TV CONNECT, London, UK, 26 April 2016 – Zenterio, a leading TV technology and services provider, is launching a dedicated consultancy service company at TV Connect in London today. Zenterio Services will complement Zenterio’s existing business and its independent software platform for interactive TV, Zenterio OS, as the company positions itself as a full-service provider of technology, value added services and consultancy for the TV industry.

Jörgen Nilsson, CEO of Zenterio, said: “As viewing habits and business models in the TV industry evolve, operators are being forced to reinvent their businesses and update their offerings. The ones that will come out on top are those that can successfully adapt and quickly launch new services based on consumer insights to generate additional revenue streams. With today’s launch of Zenterio Services, we are making clear our intentions to become the leading full-service provider of technology, value added services and consultancy for the TV industry.”

Today’s launch follows the strategic acquisitions of 27M, VTilt, and Systemagic by Zenterio. By combining the expertise and experience of these businesses, Zenterio Services is able to provide consultancy around a more comprehensive range of services, including system integration, user interface development, application development, device design, tech consulting and product lifecycle management. Moving beyond traditional TV services, Zenterio Services will also advise operators on projects covering the Internet of Things (IoT) and cloud-based services.

Jörgen Nilsson added: “The launch of Zenterio Services will allow us to tap into international demand for both our technology and consulting services, covering operators of all sizes. Through our Zenterio and Zenterio Services offering, we can provide a greater range of services to the TV industry, as well as to emerging sectors such as the IoT and the connected home.”

Zenterio is best known for Zenterio OS, its independent software platform for interactive TV, which is positioned to become a global standard. The Zenterio business provides a range of value added services, enabling operators to harness additional revenue by leveraging consumer data to optimize and enhance advertising solutions and consumer-focused services.
