At Zenterio we use several tools, libraries and methods to speed up the development process and to increase the software quality. Some of these we also offer as stand-alone products, others as integrated parts of projects.

Localisation with iTrans

iTrans is a product developed by Zenterio to help in the localisation process of the new products. It is an effective web based toolkit to translate and deploy IT-products and services in foreign languages.

By using a centralized database and allowing both developers and translators to work towards the same content using the web, the translation process gets more efficient.

iTrans is based on open standards (XML, Unicode, HTTP, SSL) and open source software (Caudium, Linux, MySQL). We have a long and successful track record of using iTrans in everything from mobile phones and digital TV to web sites and manuals.

Libraries

We have developed libraries for effectively building highly dynamic and powerful graphical user interfaces for mobile phones and digital TV's. All libraries are build to be highly customizable and expandable, and make use of the latest technologies, such as Unicode, XML, PNG, etc...

Simulation

We have built tools to speed up the programming of applications for digital TV applications using the STAPI from ST Microelectronics. Using our tools, its possible to build, run and debug applications on a Linux or Windows environment wihout the need of flashing and rebooting a digital TV box for every test-run of the application.
