The Zenterio digital TV division has developed a software solution (ZiDS) as well as hardware designs that provide new set-top box manufacturers with a fast entry into the market at low-cost, as well as existing manufacturers with a cost-efficient and fast migration to new hardware and added functionality.

Zenterio is an independent company and the ZiDS DVB Software stack is independently developed and provided to any vendor or OEM set top box manufacturer. Since ZiDS is a very dynamic software, it can be easily tailored to any specific needs, feature- and brandwise.

Zenterio is one of the forerunners of the digital TV revolution. Our employees were among the earliest software contributors to the first Nokia range of set top boxes back in the early 1990's. We have actively participated in the developement of several interactive TV standards and the ZiDS product is today a proven solution present in many digital TV receivers and markets world wide.

The award-winning ZIDS DVB stack is a modular DVB software product for the digital TV receiver market in the terrestial, satellite, cable and broadband industry. The Zenterio ZiDS software platform is a general all purpose solution for digital television standards: DVB-S, DVB-T, DVB-C and IP-TV. It has been designed to provide a high degree of modularity and portability at a low cost and it has proved to be very easily integrated on a number of different hardware / OS / middleware combinations.

Our continuous development of the ZIDS software technology has resulted in unparalleled performance in terms of scalability, zapping time, CPU- and memory usage and price-performance.
